Residential Services
At Trinity III we believe that children are our most precious natural resource and it is our responsibility to give them the best possible care. For over a decade, Trinity III has provided mental health/substance abuse services for youth and adolescents age 7 - 17 years. Trinity III has three residential facilities, two for females and one for males. Each facility accommodates four (4) consumers at a time.
A child who becomes a part of the Level III Therapeutic Residential program is in for a unique living experience; they become a member of a Christian family. The family assists them in changing their behaviors through establishing goals, which are founded on clinically based models. Using social and cognitive theories, staff is able to direct the youth to reach their goals and to serve as peer role models in the community.
The children in our program often close themselves off from healthy activities in the communities in which they reside. Trinity III attempts to reunite them with the community through various activities such as:
Choir
Learning to play an instrument
Sports
Learning Centers with tutors
Dance
Day Camps
"FOR OVER A DECADE, TRINITY III HAS PROVIDED MENTAL HEALTH/SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES."
Community Support Services and Case Management
Trinity III staff understands the needs of families and are dedicated to assisting them. As a result community support and case management programs have become an integral part of the services offered at Trinity III. We envision programs for children and adults whereby the entire family becomes healthy, safe and secure.
Case Management/Community Support offers:
One on one service for adults and children
Access to social services
Medication adherence support
Life skills development
Job development
Financial management
Housing issues
Women group sessions (parenting classes)
Referrals to therapist/psychologist
Attending IEP and other school meetings
Trinity III Community Support Specialists work with consumers to gain independence. The support specialist assists them in the community to achieve goals they have established for themselves and encourage them to succeed in their goal to wellness. Trinity III seeks to provide a true "continuum of care."
Spirituality and religion play an important part in most consumers' lives. Clinicians are often reluctant to use spirituality and/or religion in therapy for fear of imposing their own views. At Trinity III we have found the most effective strategy is to allow consumers to define their own spiritual issues, allowing them to become a productive part of their therapy.
The Staff
Trinity III staff members are professional, caring individuals who are committed to empowering consumers in building their independent living skills.
The staff members are certified and trained to provide the following:
Administrative offices
Trinity III's goal is to affect change in the lives of those we serve. At our offices, which are designed to facilitate learning, we teach residents and consumers job skills, such as typing, computer skills and general office management techniques, while at the same time continuously providing a nurturing atmosphere.
